Aaron’s “kitchen candids”

Our five month old, Aaron was happily playing in the kitchen this morning so I took a break from editing, grabbed my camera and my wide angle lens, aimed the camera in his general direction without looking through the viewfinder, and snapped away for a couple of minutes. Here’s what I ended up with. Some of these really crack me up 
Photographers Fun Day

I got together recently with a few photographer friends for an impromptu fun shoot in an old abandoned mill nearby. We had a blast and due to a sudden storm, ended up soaked and covered in dirt by the end of the shoot. Thanks Christine and Ashley for modeling for us! Here are a few of the shots that I took…
Still Waiting! (somewhat patiently)

Molly, Eli, and I are still patiently waiting for the arrival of Eli’s little brother, Aaron. We expect him any day now! We were at the new studio a few nights ago and decided to take a few quick shots of Eli and Aaron spending some quality time together….
Eli (our 3 year old) loves taking pictures with daddy’s camera so I let him take a few. I’m always amazed at the shots that he’s able to get, especially since the camera is almost too heavy for him to hold. Here are the ones that he captured of Aaron and I (and yes, he really did take these all by himself)….
